A new toy...the FZR.

Purchased on April 6, 2002 for $800 on the assumption that the tranny, specifically the clutch rod, was broken, but the bike was driveable. After the papers were signed and the money exchanged, I hopped on the bike to take off. No luck, the clutch went right then and there as I was trying to leave. So there I was, lying on the pavement about four feet from the edge of the small dirt driveway I had just left, my new bike lying on its side, breathing its last few breaths...

So I picked it up, brushed it off, and realized just what I had gotten myself into. This is going to be a struggle, this is going to be tough....this is going to be fun!

I'd just like to point out that this picture means so much...that bike in the background has been my baby for the last three years, and I've been riding bikes all my life, making 'vroom...vroom' noises as I go...
